Wow, Louisiana really jumped up there.

I was wondering how New Orleans was avoiding it.

Tennessee is up to 39 not 32 so those stats are at least a few hours old.

“I was wondering how New Orleans was avoiding it.”

I’d think it’s more due to there being little/no testing until this week.

The real problem starts when that percent that needs to be hospitalized are hospitalized - and the new cases just keep on piling up behind them. “Little Italy” coming up.

NOLA did not avoid it. Most of the cases are in NOLA or suburbs. 2 deaths.
Said this in other posts: The governor
said no sick people had traveled outside the US. What’s a really big 2 week long party NOLA hosts every year?
Mardi Gras. Massive crowds from all over.
I’m thinking they were infected at the parades or relative/friend who had been there. It was Feb 25 this year.
No way to prove it of course but not
far-fetched at all.
They increased the amount of testing here; that’s why the jump I believe.
Oh well at least we had football season!!!
