MADRID -- Spain’s government said Saturday that the wife of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has tested positive for the new coronavirus.
It said Begoña Gómez and the prime minister are in good health and following the instructions of medical authorities at their residence in La Moncloa Palace in Madrid, the government seat.
Two ministers of Sánchez’s Cabinet, the minister of equality and the minister of regional affairs, had already tested positive earlier this week. The government said both are in good health as well.

Tested or not, if you present with flu symptoms + fever, get treated for a viral respiratory infection ASAP. Until a vaccine is available, you can’t really prevent the illness, and if you are already infected, the vaccine won’t help.
Corona viruses as a family of viruses DO include the ‘common cold’ but a common cold does not (generally) produce the high fever of this corona virus. Plus none of us have antibodies for it (we do for most cold viruses) so the symptoms can show up (and escalate) quite suddenly/ rapidly.
If you or a family member rapidly spike a fever associated with ‘cold and flu’ symptoms, then get professional medical help right away. You don’t want it to progress to pneumonia.
It will also give liberals like Tom Hanks an out of proportion voice.

Jet setting politician types who continuously meet and greet others of the same ilk seem to be highly susceptible.
An online friend lives in The Netherlands. Just before all this blew up he had sold his flat and bought a 25-foot camper van. He was going to travel about Europe and then live near his daughter in Madrid. He didn’t leave quickly enough, and now he’s stuck in lockdown in his camper van in The Netherlands.
Gomez was at the March along with the equality minister Irene Montero, who has also tested positive.
