This also tells me that the thin veneer of civility can drop at any moment. The book, "Failure of Civility" is a nice guide that describes how to organize against the dropping of societal norms, and Selco describes in great detail how we must be aware of the clues that tell us 'all bets are off' and that the normal behaviors and rules no longer apply.

That's the negative view. There is also a positive view, one such positive is that the EBT will still flow, for the electricity and water will likely still flow, and the government will *MAKE SURE* EBT cards are operational. Therefore, the likelihood of urban explosion is lesser.

Still, be careful, have situational awareness, and be ready. I am. Freepers, we knew about this 5 or 6 weeks before the general public, and that gave us a head start on getting set up. About the only thing I missed was masks, and I just caught up on those too.

Same in a small town near Nashville.
But the deli meats are better stocked.

Trump just tested negative for Coronavirus.

SE Texas. Hurricane zone. Always have extra of almost everything.
Any supplies used will be replaced when the mania subsides.

Seriously reconsidering if I should have bought more ammo.
Figured I had enough already. {;^)

Laz..... Will a black bandana and Biden-style aviator glasses help protect against CV_19?

The Antifa group seems to escape using this type of protective gear.

I went to my local Wegman's yesterday morning and traffic seem just a little busier than usual.
My friend went this morning (same town, different Wegman's) and there wasn't a shopping cart to be had!
Today my son went shopping, (Wegman's, different town) and he said it was normal.
WTH knows what to expect?

One thing for certain

We ALL are going to die.

Some today, some tomorrow, some in 30 years etc but we ALL are going to die, yes, no sense pushing it but .....

It is a fact that EVERYONE that had a cold during the Civil War died.

Me...being a tie dyer, made some nice masks for wifey and I using about four layers of material and felt inserts for filters that are removeable. As for food preps...we did that weeks ago. It is just the two of us. TP...wife has a thing for paper products so we are always well stocked in that department..enough for a couple of months at all times.

We live in a rather rural area of northern california. We do fairs for a living and are set to do our Spring swing in the southwest. One of our fairs has already cancelled for the year. Other events are being shut down. So, it looks like no money for the Spring...that means losing a bucket of dollars. Can we hold on until June? That is our first Summer fair...
\
Rest of our fairs are up in Washington...hopefully things will calm down there...

In any which case...we will survive...somehow.
