Let’s just be honest about the media. Probably the most accurate news comes from those in the media you’ve never heard of and who feel lucky to have a simple byline. These are people who work for small newspapers, small market televised media, and those who work as independents.
In general, the people you see and recognize in media include a very significant number of self-promoting morons who are not very good at providing accurate unbiased news, and who have essentially no knowledge or expertise in anything other than industry politicking and self-promotion.
The average citizen is much, much more credible and capable than the ‘elite’ in the news media. It’s time we just laughed the news media elite off their pathetic stage.
