It has taken a good deal longer than it should have, but Americans have now seen the con man behind the curtain.
When, in January 2016, I wrote that despite being a lifelong Republican who worked in the previous three GOP administrations, I would never vote for Donald Trump, even though his administration would align much more with my policy views than a Hillary Clinton presidency would, a lot of my Republican friends were befuddled. How could I not vote for a person who checked far more of my policy boxes than his opponent?
What I explained then, and what I have said many times since, is that Trump is fundamentally unfitintellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologicallyfor office.
It took until the second half of Trumps first term, but the crisis has arrived in the form of the coronavirus pandemic, and its hard to name a president who has been as overwhelmed by a crisis as the coronavirus has overwhelmed Donald Trump.

Peter Wehner is over.
CC
Here is a sample of his erudite and spot-on reporting:
...former Florida Governor Jeb Bush made it official: Hes running for president. His announcement speech was very well crafted elegant and deft, forceful in some parts and demonstrating a light touch in others. It crisply covered a lot of ground and was aimed at several different audiences. And based on the reviews, it was a successful launch.
What a looser...
My reply is a great deal more aggressive and hostile but this is a family site.
The Trump Presidency Is Over in 2025.
Bwaha. You could see this afternoon. (As Wall Street clearly saw as well.)
Yeah, his admin was a bit slow on the tests—as was every country, to some degree, that hadn’t been through SARS directly. But he’s in his bag now and has mustered the kind of partnerships with business leaders he loves to establish and is fully engaged in the team and the work.
By November it will be clear that he came through this in flying colors.
The media whining has given Trump carte blanche now to take bold action in marshalling the resources of the country. He’s going to come out looking very good and very tested, in more ways than one, for his second term.
I was angry. Meant what a “loser.”
Can someone explain why testing is supposed to be this great panacea? I’m not trying to be obtuse. If there is no cure, and if we are treating symptoms, why does testing even matter?
I just don’t this I could have gone through life being known as Peter Weaner.
“What I explained then, and what I have said many times since, is that Trump is fundamentally unfitintellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologicallyfor office.”
Wehner, you whining weener: the alternative to Trump wasn’t God, it was Hillary Clinton. Did you think she was mentally, morally, temperamentally, or in any way fit for any office? The woman is the worst piece of scum to float up since Pol Pot. Trump could have been a crooked imbecile like Joe Biden and still been superior to Clinton.
Peter has a rather severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
In contrast to Peter, below is a snippet of what Sundance wrote yesterday about Trump.
Who has the better analysis of Trump?
“”””Prescient Trump

The level of media opposition and snark against President Trump is simply so ridiculous at this point theres a desperation to it. So let us consider
From the outset of Donald Trumps entry into the world of politics he espoused a series of key tenets around what he called his America-First objectives:
1. The U.S. needed to have control over our borders, and a greater ability to control who was migrating to the United States. A shift toward stopping illegal migration.
2. The U.S. needed to stop the manufacture of goods overseas and return critical manufacturing back to the United States. A return to economic independence.
3. The U.S. needed to decouple from an over-reliance on Chinese industrial and consumer products. China viewed as a geopolitical and economic risk.
Donald Trump was alone on these issues. No-one else was raising them; no-one else was so urgently pushing that discussion. In 2015, 2016 and even 2017, no-one other than Trump was talking about how close we were to the dependence point of no return.
Given the status of very consequential issues stemming from the Chinese Coronavirus threat; and the myriad of serious issues with critical supply chain dependencies; wasnt President Trump correct in his warnings and proposals?”””
Peter Wehner is a neocon warmonger who worked for GW Bush and openly despises the Christian right. He has nothing to say to me.
Yeah in 5 years..but what the left really wants is Trump in a coffin, that is why they keep on harping about him being tested, not out of concern, because they are HOPING he has it
More wishful thinking bullsh*t
Here’s another winner by the same author.
