Had a young guy w/ 3 kids quietly take me aside at work today for a heartfelt thankyou that I convinced him to stock up on food and go cash in the market over a month ago. Made up for all the crappy little flubro comments over the past 6 weeks from others.

What you did is a good thing. Many people only have groceries for a week or two because that is what they can afford...sometimes because they choose to buy other things
But if you know you really need it..you might forgo a few of those other things you dont really need in order to get what you do need
A friend of mine heard a version of that more than once in the store today.
She told me that there were a lot of dazed looking people...just stunned at what they were seeing with shelves cleared.
