Not sure it is accurate information, but I have an app, News Break, and there is a thread dedicated solely to CVD19, that gives multiple daily updates. Global, but also USA state by state and country by county. The only state without infection is West Virginia, can that be true.?

It’s probably some random picture from anywhere. The one with Wilson was photoshopped.

“Why they feel compelled to offer us their unasked for opinion if beyond me.”

I’ve compared the Flubros to people who claim we didn’t walk on the moon. They know they’re DEAD WRONG, but they have some personal need for attention.

It’s about the only thing that makes sense at this point.

It wasn’t directed at you or any of the other Flubros.

"Other Flubros"? LOL. I'm certainly not a Flubro. I never said this was not something to take seriously. I do say if someone is going to post COVID-19 info and assert it as fact, be prepared to provide a reference, or you may get called out.

And I know the comment was not directed at me. But "blind "postings like that give FR a black eye. Just like some of the racist comments directed at Asians on various threads. I give props to the moderators, who have been deleting them when made aware.

I'm sorry if my comment ruffled your feathers.

When the Wuhanic Plague broke out in China, the PRC acknowledged that the virus was more likely to infect Han Chinese, males, and smokers due to variations in ACE2 in lung cells. The gene for ACE2 is on the X-chromosome, which would explain why men are more readily infected than women.

The Korean and Japanese people share a great deal of genetic similarities with the Han Chinese, and Taiwan is majority Han Chinese.

Northern Italy has a significant population of ex-pat Chinese, many of whom work in the fashion industry in Milan, and a large numbers of those had recently traveled to China for the Chinese New Year.

Iran has more than a few Chinese “technical advisors.”

In addition, since the days of the caravans, spice and silk trades, and Marco Polo, there has been genetic admixture among the Persians and Chinese and the northern Italians and Chinese.

Nobody cares how much toilet paper you buy.

However, the needless fear mongering has crashed the economy over a once a decade event. Are we going to shut down the largest economy in the world every time a new bug emerges?

Both of you seem blissfully unaware of the economic carnage we are facing now. You might want to think about that instead of looking for validation for prepping.

Wrap a wipe around your fingers to push the button and pump. Stay outside the car.

I wonder about the credit card. Guess you’d want another wipe for it before putting it back into your wallet. And then there’s the wallet itself. Maybe just keep the wipe wrapped around the card and slide it into it’s own separate pocket of the wallet. But then you’re stuffing the wallet back in your pocket or purse and hunting for your keys and everything is infected again.

Then you turn on the a/c or heater but turn off the air recycle and put it on outside air but germs on your purchases or off hair and clothing are being swirled around. So, you open a widow hoping they’ll blow outside. But then the wind blows hair in your face so you’re using your hands to fix the hair.

It is the same thing with using a store’s stylus at the check out. And you set your purse on the counter to shove the receipt in that the cashier touched. It never ends.
Calgon, take me way! Ack, just do your best.

Yesterday, the cashier used hand sanitizer before running my groceries. Her hands are going to rot off if she uses it for each person.

“Nobody cares how much toilet paper you buy.”

Actually, we do care about how prepped we all are...and pity those who can’t comprehend it. In fact, our threads got a lot quieter in the past few days as the Flubros are spending most of their time in lines at Costco, rather than tolling this discussion.

Tough shiite - it’s not RACISM to make comments regarding how STUPID a subset of this country might be on certain things, even when it’s staring them in the face.

If it hurts your feelings, how about you join the other Flubros over here, and let us continue our adult discussions:

And by the way, NO ONE HERE has ‘crashed the economy’. We can’t even crash Chick-A-Fill when they go hard left after standing up to the gay community. We cannot even get Target to separate their bathrooms, Disney to end Gay Days, or Dicks to go out of business.

You seem to think that we run the world, when half of us barely run our own households.

I started using a small backpack instead of my purse, so it isn’t on surfaces. I also wipe my debit card and wallet with hand sanitizer every time I get beck in the car after using them.

My still in denial neighbor who thinks Nancy Pelosi, and the “Demoncrats” are responsible for a global hoax is starting to concern me. It is like she has no independent thought, just what Rush preaches. Cultish.

Not sure if Trump changed her mind with his briefing today.

Hopefully, but even on this site, Limbaugh's groupies are now claiming that the 'hysterical preppers' forced Trump's hand and he's only doing it to shut us up. It's almost as if they *feel* there is a magical force that will somehow protect us from everything that is happening in China, Italy, and elsewhere around the world.

We got our ‘validation’ yesterday, seeing all you Flubros paying the price for denial of the obvious.

As to the economy, it NEVER stood a chance against this flu...and, on my part, I’ve spent MORE MONEY in this country in the past 2 months than I’ve spend in the past 2 years (when most of my money was for traveling overseas). I’ve given our economy a HUGE shot in the arm.

Prior to WW2, it was those 2 huge oceans on either side of the country...perhaps they’re thinking that now? Unless you can come up with a better answer.

“You can re-register cars online these days. You can also go at off hours times. NEVER, EVER, go on a Monday or Friday.”

Thanks, I just did that yesterday, very easy in Texas. But we still have stupid-ass yearly ‘inspections’ where you have to let some flu-boy drive your car.

I’ve got a few months before the next one is due, so I’m hoping someone in Austin figures this out. If not, I’ll start pinging them in a week or so.

Don't worry, it doesn't hurt my feelings. It's unfortunate you need to call people you disagree with FluBros. That's not how we can get through this - we get through this with providing as accurate information as possible when asserting something as fact.

Thanks for the link to that thread. But as long as my posts are don't violate FR posting rules, I'll continue to post here if appropriate.

To: Fury; Tolerance Sucks Rocks

How is it inappropriate?

Because we weren’t hand wringing over those who waited and ended up in the situations they find themselves in?

This has been in the news since at least Jan. ANYONE who is watching and taking things seriously figured it out.

Lots of us did, got ready for it, and are now not in line making things worse.

The supply chain can handle people prepping a little at a time, over the course of weeks or months. It cannot handle everyone deciding all at once that they need enough for 2-4 weeks and stocking up in one shopping trip.
