I also suspect that because a lot of what we import from China is processed or “finished product”, going by dollar value distorts the “dependencies”.
I live in a fairly small town...two hospitals. Going to be tough.
Our frozen vegetables are packaged in: Illinois, California, Minnesota, Idaho, Washington, and Mexico.
Our canned vegetables also undergo the canning process near where they are grown: in Minnesota, Idaho, Wisconsin, New York, the Netherlands, and Peru.

Depends on how well sealed it is.
If you want it to last longer than a freezer bag will keep it, which is only 4 months or so, after you put it in plastic, wrap it well in aluminum foil and fold the edges together securely.
That will essentially make it hermetically sealed and reduce the moisture loss through the plastic.
Not sure how long that will last but should be a good long time.

There are going to be a lot of bad ratio days in SK since they have caught the bulk of the cases but many unresolved cases are pending. It will be over 1% at the end.
Even if that guy that claimed (but did not source) that 99% of their cases were mild was correct, they were going to hit 1.1, 1.2% CFR. We’ll see how it goes from here.

NYC has a sense of normalcy tonight. Lots of bars and restaurants are full.
And this is huge problem.
We need everybody to avoid crowds and congested places. To avoid close contact with strangers. To shelter at home if at all possible.
We need to end the denial and skepticism.
