the local hospitals need to work together. This one and that one, you do knee replacements, hernias and kidney stones. Over there, you’re an ICU hospital. Waive practicing privilege for visiting doctors. Share the burden and pay per originating hospital. I live in a fairly small town...two hospitals. Going to be tough.

Hospitals now have their own electronic record, ordering, and billing systems. They are all different.
You really can’t go to another hospital and care for patients.
