Maybe, but if the death counts end up lower than expected with COVID-19, people in charge are going to claim credit for keeping the numbers low. Imagine doing similar with any other flu.

The mortality rate is at the LEAST 10x higher than the flu.
Am I terrified? No. It’s still FAR from the mortality rates of ebola and other viruses.
But if it were to spread like the flu there would be a tremendous number of deaths.
It’s worth stopping early.
The economy will rock back in no time once this thing passes and Trump can claim victory in having stopped it in its tracks.
