NHL commissioner Gary Bettman reached out to clubs Thursday morning to tell them the regular season would be suspended due to the spread of the coronavirus, a source indicated to The Post. There was a call scheduled for 1 p.m. to work out some of the details on what is a very fluid situation.
The league had already cancelled morning skates and practices Thursday morning, and they told teams to start working with their buildings to find dates to host games into July. An official announcement was expected later Thursday afternoon.

The once great Chicago Blackhawks who will miss their second playoff season in a row are also thankful.
Hockey is much more important than attempting to minimize the spread of an infectious disease.

I don’t know what to believe. I wouldn’t put it past the dems to team up with China and plan this whole thing. Time is running short and their desperation to get Trump out of office before Durham acts is real.

The Sabres' season ended months ago. This might allow them to move sooner on dumping their dopey GM, so I guess there is a silver lining.
