A doctor who has been diagnosed with coronavirus has given an insight into the disease's daily symptoms on social media.
Dr. Yale Tung Chen, 35, from Spain, who caught the infection while he was treating patients at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, has been sharing his experiences battling the illness with the pubic.
The emergency physician has been sharing ultrasound scans of his lungs and listing his daily symptoms in an attempt to give the world a glimpse of how the illness takes over the body.
Taking to Twitter the doctor wrote: 'Day 1 after #COVID diagnosis. Sore throat, headache (strong!), Dry cough but not shortness of breath. No lung US abnormalities. Will keep a #POCUS track of my lungs. #coronavirus @TomasVillen @ButterflyNetInc.'

Italy Dr on frontline said patients come in ..sick..test negative...Xray shows nothing..then full onset comes and they end up back at the hospital
He advocated doing the intubation process earlier..and CT scans.
dont remember his name
And I just saw a chart of symptoms from the WHO that said diarrhea was not one of them
A little search by anyone doubting this guy is a Dr will find his twitter handle.
Should you want to ask him questions.,,here you go

You can ask him why he isnt getting CT scans every day

@yaletung
Day 4 after #COVID diagnosis. More cough & tiredness (very badly), still no dyspnea/chest pain. #POCUS update: Right side on resolution, Left side a more thickened pleural line + 2 subpleural consolidations. #mycoviddiary

“I dont know any physician who uses ultrasound to evaluate lung disease”
It may just be something that is handy to him personally. If he owns an ultrasound device in his office, it might be free for him to use at anytime, like a thermometer might be to us.
Its inevitable that just about everyone will get it. Like the flu or a cold, its a matter of time. And almost everyone will be just fine. This is all a media made storm. They dont give a damn who/what it hurts as long as they get the story and Trump looks bad.
OK. It still remains a lousy way to evaluate lung disease
Lol. I think part of the panic is that people have not heard much from people that have actually had/survived the virus about what it’s like/symptoms one might expect to experience. Something more on the average level to help balance out the vague official speak, questionable/incomplete numbers, worst case scenarios and endless conjecture.
I am not crazy about radiation for anything..
I seldom even use my microwave.
That first graphic is very helpful.
By the way, thanks for the heads up on the PA optic, put it on my new toy, and I really like it.
Diarrhea, coughs and strong headaches????
Stop The Presses.
The World Is Certain To Come to An End.
The Corona FLU has taken affect.
It has NEVER occurred before.
This is worse than a massive hemorrhoid, er uh... Asteroid slamming into Mother Earth....
Pardon me while I jump out of this office window.
We Are Doomed.....
I’m no doctor but an ultrasound and a CT scan are 2 different things. She was addressing ultrasounds.
I’m sure she doesn’t have time to research some random twitter doctor. She has better things to do i’m sure.
She has been on other threads bashing the CTs too.
But doctors didnt know those things at the outset of those diseases. Those things had to shake themselves out!
LilFarmer, you said to Mom MD, “I would think you would want to know what a potential case looks like on CT scan, especially with a shortage of tests.”

I think I understand what she(?) means and perhaps the mistake you are making. I agree with her that the CT scan can just show pneumonia and not what pathogen is causing it. Other factors and symptoms are used to recognize SARS pattern pneumonia.
This thread is a little old now but if you would be so kind as to check this link, and tell me where I am going wrong I would be so grateful:

I do not think I am intruding and I suspect you are of a scientific mind and may enjoy the article. If not please disregard my reply and don’t let me distract you.
Another article from diagnostcimaging.com compares the images from SARS, MERS, and COVID-19:

You and Mom MD are a couple of heroes here on FRee Republic and I am thankful for you truly.

I'm no doctor but maybe he has the Flu.
This chart shows why so difficult to diagnose. Add to it that you can test negative but still have it.
This Dr tested positive
Oh and you can have more than one virus with wuhan...such as wuhan and influenza
