Two things are becoming increasingly clear in the race for the Democratic nomination. Former Vice President Joe Biden now looks unstoppable after another excellent primary/caucus showing, defeating Bernie Sanders in Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri and Michigan Tuesday.
And should he get the nod before or during the Democratic National Convention, his running mate will almost certainly be a woman. Biden is now a massive -2500 favorite to earn the nomination on the heels of a dominant Super Tuesday performance. Biden has soared in U.S. Presidential odds as well, closing from +1700 to +120 in two weeks.
888sport's UK-facing betting site lists U.S. Senator and former Democratic candidate Kamala Harris as the favorite to run as Biden’s VP, giving her +250 odds. Four of the top five Vice Presidential candidates are women – Pete Buttigieg is tied for the four spot and listed at +1000 alongside Elizabeth Warren.
