I am in some kind of weird limbo land with all of that because I also have thalessemia....which one of the things is to take folic acid.
SO I take nothing.
I once made a mistake in saying the wrong dosage of lisinopril/hctz I was taking over the phone to the Dr and she freaked and then wouldnt do a renewal on my prescription because it could effect potassium...heart attacks etc.
Just out of curiosity did you have methylation (MTHFR) DNA testing done? I did as part of a larger series of enzymes tests but the folate metabolism was normal.
