Be careful if you’re tempted to take a potassium supplement — could interfere with your ACE inhibitors. K supplements actually are tricky dose wise for anyone.
I am in some kind of weird limbo land with all of that because I also have thalessemia....which one of the things is to take folic acid.
SO I take nothing.
I once made a mistake in saying the wrong dosage of lisinopril/hctz I was taking over the phone to the Dr and she freaked and then wouldnt do a renewal on my prescription because it could effect potassium...heart attacks etc.
