“I think its the degree of exposure that determines what happens...A few drops of the virus, the body can handle, but if you are exposed to a certain amount it overwhelms the body...Thats why staying out of crowds is crucial.”
100% agree. If we couldn’t fight off the first (relative) handful of virons, we would have been wiped out at the amoeba stage. We can fight off the virons at a certain rate, and if we do, we don’t get infected (in any way) and never know it. If they start to build up in us, then they start to multiply...and so you have that added factor. Once they multiply faster than we can dispose of them, we are infected and the consequences, of course, vary greatly - from nothing to death.
So, yea, bottom line: If you’re in a cab with a vector for 20 minutes, you’ll probably get it, an elevator with a bad case, yep. But if you touch a shopping cart from someone else who didn’t sneeze on it recently - you wont. You may pick up a few virons, but your body will laugh it off (assuming reasonably healthy).
On the China bus, something like 14 people got it from the vector who sat in the back, but most didn’t get it...but you bet they all breathed it during that 4 hour bus ride!
“I have a bad feeling about GA”
That airport, man.
No checks from people coming in from Italy. Unbelievable.
Fulton cancelled schools today- 94000 students
They are screening per the airport director guy but what good does screening do for the asymptomatic spreaders.
Patient 0 was shedding virus during early stages while in hospital bed while testing negative if I read that Medical Revew journal correctly.
Not sure if they mentioned if he was shedding the virus in later stages...
There has to be a reason some are super spreading and others arent...and it cant just be attributed to SPACE and crowds

Now the authors have retracted it, with no explanation. When Chinese researchers or doctors are forced to retract, it makes me think there must have been too much truth. All of the articles regarding airborne spread have become hard to find now.

We bugged out from FL 10 years ago and just finally was able to say to the wife the other day, “moving to the boonies is finally paying off”. I actually grew up hanging out on the hilly woods so it’s nice to be back to it.
LOL! Show me where I hinted 360 million people should be tested right now and I support throwing quarantine out the window. You are making up stories.
Too much drama, too much panic, tossing common sense out the window and sending people running to hospitals rather than calling local health department for medical advice and direction.
If you were exposed to a co-worker who subsequently tested COVID-19 positive, you ought to know what day you were most likely exposed. With that info, you contact your health department for direction.

State govt. Channel: MD. comments the ratio of 1/3 containment goal. ie: keep the one infected away from potentially infecting 3 more.
Ive seen conflicting stories between Mississippi and Kansas. Either is likely because of the proximity of troops and pigs.
It really doesnt matter where it started. It ended badly.
Coronaviruses suck.
But its just the flu, bro.
The R naught has been said to be over 2. Vs barely 1 for the flu.
GasBuddy shows $1.40/gallon in Texas so it’s not all bad news!
GERMANY
