So many homes have single parents these days. That parent would need to take off work because no one else will. People also have a habit living paycheck to paycheck so how will bills be paid? Where will they leave the child when they need to make a milk run or will they cart the child into the store? Even the parent alone could be infecting the store all because they failed to prep.

What I don’t understand is why we aren’t seeing more video coming out of Italy like we did in the early days of the outbreak in China. Italy does not have a locked down, censored internet like they do. Why aren’t we seeing more alarms being sounded by HCWs and the public? I’m seeing nothing on social media about how dire things are over there. It’s weird.

That’s a great idea...only...what about folks who are asymptomatic? Maybe screening also includes travel history/contacts.

China has been dealing with this for 3 months and there’s no end in sight. IMO, which doesn’t mean squat, double their 3 months to 6 months prep at least. Scary, huh.
She (Rod’s sis) was the one on the media presser, a few weeks ago, saying the same...for folks to prep for a couple of months isolation....that this would be bad and potentially huge effect, nationally.
Then, we didn’t hear any more from her, or about the preparing, until now.
What changed?
If she lied then, and is lying now....shouldn’t she be let go? If she was telling the truth then, why did she quiet down, until now?
A 6 day shut down of Mongolia’s cities is a start. Failure to extend the shut down long term will mean CV dance down Main St. on day 7.
Betcha they won’t give locations so neighbors can take precautions.
