Continuation of the thread.
The election is a long way away
Contra Costa County is doing the same, for “privacy”. You don’t need to know if people in your neighborhood are infected. Trying to avoid local panic I guess.
At one time, Trump was a germophobe.
I have a very dark sense of humor, so I had to lol when Lockner showed a picture of the WH Press Corps on the WH lawn—jammed together—not following CV distancing protocol.

Perhaps we should just become France and take the next 3 months off at work and the government can reimburse us.
TYVM...all!
Home today
Temp is ~100
Some chest tightness, bit of cough.
GF has dry cough, tired and elevated temp also.
One employee in isolation ICU. No news about tests there yet. No action by management
Frustrating
That is their logic—the problem with it is that people in the immediate area and/or have been in contact with an infected person will be more likely to ask for tests if they know they have been exposed to an infected person.
That helps to reduce the spread of the virus!
That is why most experienced public health officials _want_/_demand_ that the detailed information about the infected person be revealed to the public.
All three of Ohios coronavirus cases from Cuyahoga County, governor says
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WJW) Three people in Ohio have tested positive for coronavirus, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said on Monday.
He also declared a state of emergency. All three people are from Cuyahoga County, the governor said.
The state of emergency that Ive declared in Ohio is a legal necessity that allows state departments and agencies to better coordinate in their response, DeWine said.
The three patients, who are ages 54 to 56, are on home quarantine. Two of them were on a trip to Egypt and one was at a conference in Washington D.C. Six additional people who had close contact are also on quarantine.
There are five people under investigation for the virus, the Ohio Department of Health said.
Well it is here in my backyard now.
When the secrecy happens, you know that the political officials of the county over-ruled the health professionals of the county.
“All schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 10 with additional closures being decided...This closure will allow us to clean and sanitize affected schools as well as share additional details of our ongoing plan, officials said in a statement. “
Oh goodie. Sanitize the school and the next day invite the carriers back in.
“Conference in DC”—where have we heard those words before—AIPAC or CPAC, perhaps.
No, we’re not that mean
I’m not...not at all
Only posted as wake-up call
It will be posted to other flu broisms in a similar lighthearted manner. When you realize YOU could be exposed, the perspective changes a bit =o)
“@RepDougCollins
This afternoon, I was notified by CPAC that they discovered a photo of myself and the patient who has tested positive for #COVID19.”
What SUCKS is that if we had been testing during the past month, CPAC, or whatever it is, probably would have been canceled...or at least key people would have known enough to stay clear.
What are the negatives of aspirin?
I read something but can’t remember details.
Thanks
The bottom line is: we are not at the mercy of this virus
Maybe not, but we are definitely on our own. If you have some good people at your county level, they may help stem the spread of infections.
Fulton county GA (Atlanta)
