Kamala Harris is just playing the odds. Joe is by far the most likely to be nominated to run as President on the Democrat ticket, and she wants the VP post so badly she can taste it. Joe won’t make a year as President if elected to the job (and there is an outside chance that could happen), before he would be removed under the provisions of the 25th Amendment (same one they tried to use against Trump), and she ascends to the office, no pain, no strain (for her, anyway). And you though Bernie would be a bad deal.
