Thanks for the PING - it's just around the corner.

The time of year when we plan on what we're going to plant and where.
Happy planning, and planting!

Ah, Spring! When a young man’s thoughts turn to what a young woman has been thinking about all year! :/

Spring is almost here because the squirrels are digging up my crocus bulbs! Gotta get the cayenne put down on them this morning. :)

This time of year I concentrate on cutting back/down things I don’t want to grow: brambles, weed trees.
Crocus is out, but too early to plant.

The first week of March was warm and dry here in Central Missouri. The rains returned last night and look to be on us for a good part of the coming week.

I spent most of Saturday doing yard work. Spread another 20 ton of crushed limestone on the driveway. Took the tomato cages down and cleaned them up.

Dragged Mr. Clarence out of the barn and gave him a good rinsing with the pressure washer. I’ve collected all of the parts needed to give him a good tune-up. Thought I might get started on that this week, but I don’t have room in the shop to put him inside so that work will wait until conditions improve.

As I recall, there were one or two people here looking for Carol Deppe varieties. I’ve been putting together a list of alternative sources for her seeds. This is very much a work in progress still, but feel free to take a look: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VHZQh4H8KMG19R6JCbMlh0kPGmjH6sDJuJD-Y0ziATE/edit?usp=sharing
