He compliments people so well. Really makes them feel special.

I pray anyone here from TN is ok.

I’m from NY.

If a shingle falls off my roof it’s a catastrophic disaster.

I can’t imagine an entity that can destroy a whole house.

I lived on Texas Gulf cost off and on, continuously owned a home there, from 1975-2016. NEVER had any damage to our house there!

NY has had a big one 1938. Can happen again. A friend of mine lived in Conn when one hit there, flooded her basement.

Without warning, a powerful Category 3 hurricane slams into Long Island and southern New England, causing 600 deaths and devastating coastal cities and towns. Also called the Long Island Express, the Great New England Hurricane of 1938 was the most destructive storm to strike the region in the 20th century.

Nobody knows for sure where the hurricanes will hit. The Northeast is
certainly overdue for a hurricane, but nobody knows it it will happen
this year. The last direct hit I remember was hiurricane Gloria in
1985. That one hit Long Island very hard, with 100 mph winds knocking
out power for months in some places.
ABC is just guessing based on water currents and temperatures. But a
lot more has to fall into place for the Northeast to take a direct
hurricane hit.
