NEW YORK — A 15-year-old girl was brutally beaten by a group of people Thursday afternoon on a Brooklyn sidewalk, video shows.

The suspects chased the victim, then pummelled her, punching and kicking her multiple times around 4 p.m., WCBS reported.

Video shows the victim being beaten as more people run up and participate in the assault.

The attack reminded me of sharks. It starts with one guy attacking the girl. As soon as it begins more (at least two dozen) come from every direction to take part—some from what looks like a block away. They did there best to pick her clean—took her phone, a debit card and even her shoes.

As near as I can tell, no one seemed to try and help the victim.

As a former resident I can certainly see a big change in the neighborhood. By the way, Schumer left Brooklyn years ago and lives in Nassau County on the North Shore.
