Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein is being moved to the North Infirmary Command at Rikers Island after undergoing a heart procedure, where he will remain through his sentencing on March 11.
A rep for the disgraced movie mogul told Fox News on Thursday Weinstein is "is being moved to Rikers as we speak." He added that Weinstein, 67, underwent a heart procedure and "is now fit" to be moved to Rikers.
Weinstein was found guilty of rape and sexual assault against two women before being led away in handcuffs on Feb. 24. While he was remanded to jail after the verdict was read in court, Weinstein was transported to Bellevue Hospital in an ambulance after experiencing heart palpitations and high blood pressure after the verdict was read. Weinstein's attorneys earlier had objected to their client being sent to Rikers because of his poor health. New York Supreme Court Judge James Burke said he would make a judiciary request for Weinstein to stay in the Rikers infirmary.
Weinstein was found guilty of third-degree rape of Jessica Mann, an aspiring actress, in a New York City hotel room in 2013. He was also found guilty of a criminal sex act for assaulting production Mimi Haleyi at his apartment in 2006. Weinstein's lawyers have said they are already working on an appeal.

He’ll have some help, just like Epstein.
I don’t think there’s any reason for Harvey to be suicided. His sins are his own. His friendships with the powerful have long been known. But, unlike Epstein, I don’t think he was accumulating sexual blackmail data on others.
His eyes may Whitey Bulger out of his haid!
He should consult with his doctor before beginning any exercise regimen, such as walking without his fake walker.

True, but Whitey Bulger knew where a lot of bodies were buried. It is likely IMHO that even though many years had passed, he had incriminating evidence against others in the FBI besides the few who had been indicted. And also, there’s the other side of it... criminals don’t like a rat.
I don’t think Weinstein has either of these problems. He abused the casting couch behind his own closed doors, alone with his victims. It was well known he was very sexually aggressive, probably criminal, throughout the society he frequented. But, it yielded roles, so it went unchecked for a long time.
But, I don’t think he has any great tales to tell. Most of his stories are just self-incriminating.
Now, it is quite a come-down from Harvey Weinstein, rich and legendary producer, to Riker’s inmate. Maybe he might consider killing himself. But I don’t think he’s worth killing by any of his old friends.
He’s gonna get Epstein-ed.

Harvey never double-teamed an actress or procured an actress to secure a movie deal or to get an actor onboard a project?
It’s common knowledge that leads in movies (or directors and lead actresses) date and knock boots while films are in production.
Robert Rodriguez did it to Rose McGowen. Claimed they were ‘dating’ but his promise to her of the lead role in a never made Red Sonja movie never materialized.
The casting couch is real and Harvey may have played pimp.
