I don’t.
I work with small children. I have a bunch of children of my own. I travel to see them. I become ill sometimes after traveling across the country. I’ve seen the flu go from child to child to child, hospitalizing one who was in ICU for a week. No one quarantined the school where this was occurring. Two more with pneumonia in the same class. Why didn’t somebody do something????? I mean, really. What’s the difference between flu and this made up virus?
In your expertise, what do you think the central government should have done to keep this made up virus out of the United States and from spreading during flu season? They can’t even test for flu accurately by the way. Why would they be able to test accurately for a made up virus all across this country within weeks of it appearing here?
I cannot respond because I completely reject your premise.
But you are entitled to your opinion that it is a made up virus.
Because China, Singapore and South Korea were able too.
There are two places so far (and only two countries) that have effectively stopped the growth the disease after it had made it on their shores.
They are Singapore and Hong Kong.
Both have warm temperatures (which some argues makes a difference), have tight control over travel (incoming and outgoing), and took the virus _very_ seriously from day one.
Could their success be duplicated elsewhere? Hard to say.
But—no western government is even _asking_ the question, much less attempting to answer it.
IBTZ troll-boi.
Children, with pneumonia, from flu? 2 in the same class? And another in ICU?
