Terrifying video footage shows the moment a tower crane operator helplessly watches a Tennessee tornado spiral towards him as he's stuck over 300 feet in the air.

Kentucky man Jason Nash was working in a high tower crane in Nashville on early Tuesday when a tornado appeared and started to tear through the city.

Nash frantically recorded the moment he panicked as he was suspended 375 feet in the air in the crane cab as the winds began to roar and bright lights started to flash in the distance.

I used to guide one of those tower workers lifting elevator forms.
It kind of looked like a cool job....until a storm shows up.
We were out on the deck when a sudden 60mph wind showed up and we were standing on oiled concrete forms.

Everyone hit the deck and slowly crawled to the ladder.
One of the scariest times in my life and I’ve seen a few.

If a story has no political value then it is not worth putting out for the public.

If you weren’t paying attention since the 2000’s..the DAILY MAIL and UK TELEGRAPH were the ONLY 2 NEWSPAPERS who reported the War in Iraq 2003 onward objectively.

Unlike the AP and MSM here who clapped and were happy every time an American GI died and wanted their Vietnam..

It also helps that Trump’s buddy Piers Morgan is the editor of the Mail..

I’m trying to figure out how he couldn’t see that approaching storm’s lightning from 50 miles away. “No storm?” That storm was nasty even back when it was due south of Clarksville / Ft. Campbell.

Good weather-girl vid here, although like too many of her colleagues, she’s saying one thing while the graphic on screen says another. (100 miles on the ground vs. 57 miles on the ground.)

I’ve never seen a crane operating after dark. I watched one for months as a big building was going up next to my office - the guy was climbing down at the first hint of anything that might have been a storm coming; and out every day long before sunset.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this video is a hoax.

Doubt it is a hoax. Why bother? He may have had his back to the storm.

What’s anyone doing in a crane cab at 1:30 in the morning?

Do they operate cranes in the middle of the night?

In big cities, yes they do so as to minimize their impact on daytime traffic........

On many concrete pours you can’t stop.

The crane is used to bucket the concrete up oftentimes.

He might have gone up to move the crane to a safer position knowing a storm was coming. He may NOT have known that the “storm” was a tornado.

I saw where the crane operator said he had about 2 min notice that it was a tornado. And it takes 15 min to climb down from the cab.

Do they operate cranes in the middle of the night? How about when there’s severe storms in the area or a during a tornado warning?

Nighttime, sure. After midnight? (Per article, it was two tornadoes "after midnight".) I don't think that late unless there's a major incentive of some sort for early project completion.

But yea, they shouldn't be doing much of anything in any storms. Tornadoes don't usually just appear on their own, there's a bunch of thunder and lightning and wind and rain that comes out before and around them!
