I *still* can’t dance, I *still* can’t sing...
Well Im interested if Peter Gabriel is with them thats for sure.
Walking across the sitting-room, I turned the television on, and heard about this.
My favorite band of all time. Period.
Thanks!
It would be great if Gabriel could sit in for a few songs, but that’s not likely. :(
What the heck happened to Phil?
Last song I remember by him is Easy Lover which was pop but I still liked it.
He just disappeared.
Hope Phil Collins is doing better. He will have his son on drums.
I figure they realize Phil isn’t going to get any better, so it’s now or never.
Great musical Talent, but Phil Collins is a total leftie.
In related news, Journey fired drummer Steve Smith and bassist Ross Valory today, so their next album is destined for the cutout bin......I guess they can join TOTO, Survivor, America, and Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band for that two-day riverboat cruise on the mighty Mississippi. [/snark]
I think you’ll see Gabriel make an appearance or two. I say he will join them for “I Know What I Like”.
I have “Foxtrot” and “Selling England By the Pound” on original Charisma vinyl. The Collins era albums I like are “Wind and Wuthering”, “And Then There Were Three”, and the self titled one from 1983.
But he fled England for Switzerland for tax reasons.
So how much are they going to charge for a ticket? n/s
Yes, it seems I broke an important FR commandment.
Hey, I pinged it anyway, so we'll both wind up in the stocks in the town square.
Some of the best stuff on Wind. I actually bought my vinyl when it was initially released. I started with Lamb when it had just come out, and then got the previous stuff before continuing purchasing with each release.
Vinyl is my only real “Hobby” these days. Well, that and the equipment I play it on - all 70’s vintage hi-fi. I sold the stuff between 1976 and 1982.
I wonder if he still has the fox head and red dress. ;)
I loved Genesis but his leftism is nauseating. During the Reagan era he was just retarded.
