No Peter Gabriel?
I don’t care anymore
Got news for them, nobody is going to be touring for a year or more ...
I have “No Reply At All,” “That’s All.”
Who will be on drums?
At least they are old enough that they will hire others to beat the $hit out of Phil Collins.
Time has not been kind to yesterday’s rockers.
But even so, I have enjoyed playing Genesis’ “In The Air Tonight” over the years, often pairing it with “Silent Running” from Mike And The Mechanics because the thematic tone meshes.
Thanks for the warning. ; )
I saw Genesis in Atlanta. At the Omni, believe it or not. They had Chester Thompson as a second drummer.
Do you like phil collins? Been a big genesis fan, ever since the release of their 1980 album, duke. Before that i didnt really understand any of their work, it was too artsy, too intellectual...it was on duke where uh, phil collins presence became more apparent...i think invisible touch is the group’s undisputed masterpiece, its an epic meditation on intangibility at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding 3 albums...christy, take off the robe... listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of banks, collins and rutherford you can practically hear every nuonce of every instrument, sabrina...remove your dress, in terms of lyrical craftsmenship and sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism, sabrina why dont you uh, dance a little! take the lyrics to “Land of Confusion”, in this song, phil collins adresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980’s, about monogomy and commitment, the song is extremely uplifting...their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as uh, anything ive heard in rock.
Announcing the, Were Running Out of Money! tour.
One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Dallas ... Reunion Arena ... maybe 1987ish? That was one heck of a show. Especially when Phil Collins and Chester Thompson started banging on the drums for what seemed like almost half an hour.
rock band ?? L O L
they sucked then and now
Just saw this!
After seeing Phil’s condition on his recent solo tour, I’m not sure how this is going to work.
Hopefully Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett can make some appearances.
i saw Genesis a half dozen times from 1978 through 1986...great band..
Collins is a high maintenance “artist”...his poor health comes from having accidents as a result of drinking to much..
Every Genesis fan will love this.
