The UTSA Urbino Italy Campus has closed, and the students returned to the US yesterday. I saw Urbino has only 4 cases of covid19, but the province it is in has 61 cases.
UTSA, for those who may not know, is the University of Texas at San Antonio. The returning students have been asked to self quarantine for 14 days.
“If healthcare workers don’t even get the seriousness of needing to self-quarantine, what hope do we have for the rest of the country?????????”
There will be no real quarantines and there is no containment.

A number of us have also thanked janetjanet998 and / or Vermont LT for these threads (which thanks in my own case I restate here). That in itself is affirmation of something (a “service”, in this case) desired and appreciated.
Although it will gum up this thread a bit, maybe all of us who appreciate these threads and would like VL to continue with them for the foreseeable future should post exactly that. I’d say, make it a reply to #183 & be sure to include VL and the troll as recipients.

If accurate, that's clear malpractice. Depending on if they recover they should be sanctioned by their licensing board.

Thank you, people are scared. From what I’m reading (when you get past the dem-bots) is they are not looking for perfection. They want information, transparency and leadership. If the administration does that, re-election is much more likely than trying to play down the potential threat.

You are entirely free to post your own threads and ping people interested in your threads. Vermont Lt is helping me out by bringing me information that I would otherwise not see and I’ll decide what to believe or not believe. I doubt Sanders will be swayed by a few threads about the virus.
Again, my advice - don’t respond to replies from people who you don’t believe add to the discussion.
