Thank you, people are scared. From what Im reading (when you get past the dem-bots) is they are not looking for perfection. They want information, transparency and leadership. If the administration does that, re-election is much more likely than trying to play down the potential threat.
PS, I have even seen some Democrats on Twitter to stop berating Trump, that we should all pull together.
If you look at the leaders of _all_ western countries (Europe, US), they are playing down the potential threat.
This is neither a coincidence nor a conspiracy.
The bias of western governments is that helping the economy is a higher priority than risking damage to the economy by taking strong measures to contain a pandemic.
It is not pretty, but that is what it is—and I don’t blame them—that is just the world we live in.
This will be a teaching moment for all of these countries.
We will get through it, probably with more deaths and hospitalizations than we could have with serious containment and quarantine, and count our blessings that this virus was not worse.
I am the acceptance stage—responsible folks have to use the resources we have to stay on top of what is happening—and don’t rely on any authority figures to tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
No, thank you. No reason this shouldn’t be something the country and world can get through without catastrophe. The worst scenarios are enabled by idiocy, just look at what’s happening in Iran and South Korea with that fringe church.
Ignorance is dangerous, but stupidity is a disaster.
