Make sure to wear gloves so there are no finger prints. Oh, wait. Forgot about the body cam.
To: conservative98
Couldn't the police just put the welfare check in the mail?

I remember when police officers used to just wait people like out, and denied drama they tended to just give up or rethink things after a couple of days. Sometimes they overdosed or shot themselves, but usually they changed their mind as several days went buy.
I think that the old way (while not perfect) was much better.

Yeah in the old days they didn’t drive up in MRAPS and upfitted Hummers.
To: conservative98
Can’t fault the cops.. they withdrew and warned her to drop the weapon. Unfortunately for her, she drew it instead of dropping it.

Her welfare went downhill pretty quickly. She was strung out on something already or gravely ill. If they'd left her alone, she probably would have finished the job without the cops.

That was way back when your house was your castle. Now they just bust in and order you around and shoot you if you resist.

Exactly... Just think how much money they’ll save by not checking on her welfare anymore.
Watched the tape... It was overkill. Period! A warning shot would have been useful, but instead the officer just opens up and fires his weapon 5 or 6 times.
