In reality when Trump talks about bringing back manufacturing - SILENCE????!!! WHAT????
Shameful, shameful.
You must be really bored today. God bless you.
Right on, patriot! Get worked up! Triple down!! Take zero crap!!!
Which Republican is going to pick up Trump’s Nationalist protectionist mantel? Who?
I didn’t watch the rally last night very closely, but I think those lines have gotten cheers at earlier ones. But this is a time when Trump should really emphasis bringing factories back, with all the current examples of how reliant our stupid and self-destructive trade polices have made us for so many products: prescription and non-prescription medicines, dietary supplements, and the long list of safety products that are now in short supply, or out of stock most places. And that’s just a beginning.
This is the perfect time to talk about how reliant we are on China, and how dangerous that can be.
The seem to be charged up to me watching it so far. Perhaps you can point me to the time you are talking about. The crowd outside was as large outside as it was inside.
Follow the money, they aren’t stupid. Their investment portfolio is more important than you having a job. Ever wonder how much is invested in other countries that are producing American products? Many of the Congress critters (Both Parties and the Independent ones too.) have sticky fingers, you can count on it. Greed rules!
I am Drango. Glad to meet you.
The GOP is dead. There are Trump supporters and everyone else. The Democrat party is dead. There are Bernie supporters and everyone else. After decades of the reigning political parties surrendering their values (except in campaign speeches), the two parties have merged into The Swamp. They served monied interests and sold the rest of us out. People are fleeing The Swamp Left and Right. After this election, there will be no more GOP and no more Democrat party. It’s Trump et al vs The Communists. I am confident the new America First party will win.
It looks like the words are yours, not President Trump’s. Please show the exact quote, or don’t appear to show words that aren’t his as being his.
Shame on you for being a habitual useful idiot for the Democrat Fascist party propaganda machine.
Shame on you for always desperately seeking daily for something to trash talk you own side about while NEVER attacking the Democrat Fascist party on anything
Shame on you for being a mindless propaganda bot for the Democrat Fascists party on social media
But...work is so hard. The other guy wants to give me stuff.

Trump had a terrific meeting in India with the top executives in that country. Too bad the audio wasn't available. But a transcript was posted on WhiteHouse.gov
I posted a great excerpt a couple days ago, what Mittal, the owner of the biggest steel company in the world said to President Trump in India:
And this is what we expect the other countries to learn: that they should support domestic manufacturing, not made in China. They support domestic manufacturing to dump steel in the world. (Inaudible) over-capacitation.
But I must thank you for what you have done for the steel industry, what you have done for the tax reform, what you have done to reduce regulations. Ive never seen the extent of ease of doing the business that we experience in the United States -- anywhere else in the world. So I must congratulate you for creating an ease of business ecosystem."
The other side of this story is that it was Wilbur Ross, our Secretary of Commerce, who sold Bethlehem Steel to Mittal, a company that had gone bankrupt!
So you gotta love what President Trump did in this meeting, and the same thing happened in Japan last year, I think it was -- putting senior foreign executives in the room and thanking them.
Trump is talking up American workers! He's the top cheerleader for America around the world. He's bringing jobs back to the U.S. -- getting the smartest business people in the world excited about making some money employing U.S. workers.
You sound miserable. Go back into your cave

Maybe they just wanted to listen to what the man had to say... Not everything has to be responded to by “Beatle-mania” type hysterics.
Ignorance is what it is.
I want an America that makes things, builds things.
I dont want to work for Amazon.
I see ports full of containers where hundred of thousands had factory jobs there 30 years ago.
People dont know what he is talking about, thats the problem.
A disconnect.
This thread is getting a bit tedious.
Not everything Trump says is going to get cheers, laughter, whatever ...
But the overall level of enthusiasm at these Trump rallies is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
Let’s all take a deep breath and look at the big picture.
My university background is in economics, so I can say with some confidence that economics — vital though it may be — just isn’t going to get people’s juices flowing like a good hard swipe at Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, or any of the RAT presidential candidates.
Talking about trade, by its very nature, just doesn’t have the same visceral appeal.
So, please, everyone on this thread, just calm down. There’s enough to worry about without turning over every last stone looking for more problems.
I didn’t see that! Were we listening to the same rally?
I was there and cheering the whole time. I had a great view but the speakers werent aimed toward my section and he was hard to hear.
What a ridiculous petty complaint for a great rally. Thanks for Greta-ing all over it. Shame indeed.
