I watched the video after posting.
Had underestimated the age of the white woman by 30 years. A snowflake would likely have only bought one pack of toilet paper.
The asians have five kids. Nine cases of water is maybe three weeks.
I bought a Berkey—the question for me was how many sets of filters do I pick up.
Right. But we don’t have hurricanes, so the only thing that would turn water off at the reverse-osmosis taps (its a thing out here) in Vacaville would be an earthquake. The Budweiser bottling plant is just down the road and they have their own wells. So there’s not going to be a shortage of drinking water. I don’t think the lady thinks so either, with three jugs of Tide she expects to be able to do laundry, right?. That’s why I said at the beginning, the water hoarding doesn’t make sense considering the resources Calif has.

Having owned a berkey for some 20 years...a set of filters will last more than a few years. But if you have one set of filters (two) you should be set for this year and next and the year after. I think the forumula is 3K gallons per filter. Two filters good for 6K gallons. Figure making three gallons a day for example and you will be good for a long time...
Hope that helps...
