Sports should have already shut down as games bring in outsiders to the school/community. But noooo, it’s all about the money.
It’d be a lot cheaper and less worry to can your protein. What happens when the gas runs out.
Right now the other countries have not experienced the overwhelming of healthcare capabilities and facilities that China had. S. Korea is close as doctors were calling nationwide looking for beds. Iran is probably already there, but are very secretive. The numbers are fairly close to China, I think.
Singapore is looking the best, but they are doing diligent contact tracing and testing, which has allowed the, to stay on top of things so far.
Curious as to what the US will look like. Hopefully its not too late to be like Singapore, but probably is.
I can stuff from my garden, but I have always been afraid to trust myself canning meat. It seems like it takes so long to process at the right temperature and pressure.

The teacher became sick 10 days ago and went to the doctor but still hasn’t been confirmed by CDC.
The teen went to two clinics, felt better so went back to school only to find out test was positive.
“The few students they were in contact with have been notified and will remain home for 14 days with symptom monitoring” Really, the few? How about the whole school? Front door, back door, all doors, restroom use, all the desk “they” (aka he or she) sat in, they’s (yeah, not proper English) locker and surrounding lockers, the lunchroom or smoking corner, did “they” run their hand down the hallway walls and every student they passed or sat near and...... And “they’s” sibling who goes to another school.
The CDC is still operating off the assumption that this is not spread via asymptomatic people. They do not trust the data because they have not verified it according to one of the lackeys...
Yet, they believe Chinas numbers that the case rate is flattening. So they get to pick and choose what data they want to believe?
Lol

but it is shocking that he was even allowed to go back without the test results
and I still don’t understand why he was tested in the first place since he didn’t meet the CDC criteria..even the updated one
Stop the flights!!! (throat hoarse from yelling for days/weeks)

I’m tempted to say that you left out North Korea, but in fairness, they have no capabilities and facilities to overwhelm.
Lol!!
Recommends??
Yikes.
Yeah, one test is 10 days out but he gets his back fairly quickly. Who does his daddy know?
But he was at school and around everyone in the days before when it was percolating.
Can’t see him running in the same crowd as an elderly lady a 100 miles away. Someone or some people are running around CA with it. Maybe they were coughed on at Costco or they used the same gas pump.
Dry it. Use a dehydrator. Make sure its lean. After being dried you can stick it in the freezer.
Rehydrate by using in soups and stews.
Does it taste like filet? Nope.
Would it provide protein? Yup. Native Americans got this right.
I just froze several doz eggs (scrambled...good for baking, eating, etc).
And, I recently pressure canned 12 qts of beef stew.
Ecuador reports first case of coronavirus
I tried dehydrating turkey last year, I was too scared to eat it lol.

I have canned deboned chicken and beef. Beef tasted burnt. Chicken in seasoned broth was awesome for soup.*
It is good to get your pressure gauge checked for accuracy once a year to be on the safe side. Our home extension agent has a tester.
*If I can, anyone should be able to do it.
