Interesting article from Jalopnik and the rebuttal.
My experience with man-bun wearers is not stellar. Granted, I have only dealt with a few and the neck and face tats do turn me off. On the other hand, I have a former Marine friend who is covered with tattoos and he is awesome, so it is easy to overlook the tats. (I suspect he got the tats while recovering from significant brain damage received in an IED that killed everyone else in the vehicle. But I never asked.)
I seldom say anything about people’s appearance as, while I am not terrifying, I am bald and not very interesting looking. Nobody looks at me twice unless they think I am a mugger. (At which point I smile and say, “howdy!”)
I see the man-bunners as the hippies of our time. But, if I had thick hair, maybe I would do something interesting with it. Who knows?
They've gone to the beard and plastic glasses look. Which is equally stupid looking.
