People try to look trendy and hip. Those foppish looking guys in the eighteenth century, with their lace sleeves and hanky stuffed in one cuff could cut your head off with their swords. Today, they look ridiculous. One thing that always looks good is a man in a suit. It doesn’t matter if the suit was from 1890, 1920 or today. They always look good.
In my professional life, I always wore a long sleeve shirt and tie. I kept my hair, which I had at the time, short and neat. I like to think I could have gone anywhere in any time and not looked too out of place. (Obviously not biker bars or mining camps, but you get what I mean.)
