Reminds me a bit of the book “Sleepers.”
Our drill instructors just used their fists. I never heard of a recruit being beaten up any other way. But that was in the Old Corps.
Good job locking these guys away. They undermine what little confidence is left in our criminal justice system (which now seems to punish the innocent, free the guilty, and torture middle-level nobodies).
