This is the continuation of the Thread.
That's a hell of an assumption.

People’s Daily, China
@PDChina

to be fair, the flight attendant angle was recognized and discussed almost immediately last month. I am shocked we aren’t seeing more such reports. Anyone flying who has been paying attention has to have assumed this was a significant risk factor, and flying an asian airline is even riskier one would expect since crew might also be on flights into/out of china.
Starting to see more people complaint about the lack of testing by the CDC compared to other countries.
The virus could be wide spread in the US and we do not know it.
This is an interesting thread by Dr.Gottlieb.
He is very technical but hes been saying there are alternatives, and the FDA can work with other institutions to roll this out quickly.
I wish someone in the WH would talk to him:

Cryin Chuck Schumer is complaining, for publicity purposes only, that I should be asking for more money than $2.5 Billion to prepare for Coronavirus. If I asked for more he would say it is too much. He didnt like my early travel closings. I was right. He is incompetent

The Centre for Health Protection today said the COVID-19 virus was detected after tests were conducted at a Buddhist temple in North Point.
The centres Communicable Disease Branch Head Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan explained that the tests returned two positive results revealing contamination on a bathroom tap handle and a prayer book.
For the Fook Wai Ching She temple, we took a total of 33 environmental samples from the building, including the common areas such as the lift and also inside the temple. We found two positive samples - one is from the toilet tap handle and the other one is from the surface of the book

Anyone right now who has this virus can walk up to you and cough massively directly into your face. Guaranteed you will have that virus in 3 to 4 days without mask, gloves and eye wear. I know. A person did that exact thing to me over a decade ago.

The small number of U.S. cases thus far may be a reflection of limited testing, not of the virus spread.
The virus is beginning to spread locally in countries outside China, but no one knows if thats the case here, because they arent checking.

- 4 more Americans test positive after being evacuated from the Diamond Princess cruise ship
It’s a he...the infected SK flight attendant.
We dont know how many people got it in Wuhan, and we dont know what proportion died and what proportion just had the flu and got better. Some people - non-Asians - who have had it said it was simply like a mild flu and only lasted a few days and then they were fine again.
Most of the Europeans or non-Asians who have died of it have been in their 80s or have had pre-existing respiratory problems. Even so, the percentage that has died has been normal flu-level. Its obviously very communicable, like every new flu, so if more people get it, more will die; but the percentage seems to be normal.
In the US, most elderly - and in fact, all - people are immunized against various flu strains every year, so there will probably be some antibodies circulating in their systems which, while they will not avoid getting a different type of flu, may mitigate it a bit.
Chinese health care stinks, their living conditions are 3rd World, and their nutrition probably isnt very good either.
Unfortunately, one of the things that has led to the hysteria is that the Chinese cannot be trusted to report accurately on anything. Remember, they refused US offers of help with breathing masks, etc. - and in fact, theyre now blaming the US for their virus.
While I am certain that the Chicoms would lie about anything, any time, if it were in their interests, you should take seriously the POSSIBILITY that lockdowns of the nature conducted in China in January and February have stemmed the rise in new cases.
They are testing.
They're just not talking.
