Obviously Commercial and Military Air Travel is not going to be halted, thus the governments have a vested financial interest in not stopping the spread of this virus. People will just have to die in order that air travel continue, and the profits of the airlines continue so they can pay for the planes they buy and have on order.

The US idiots might be driven by the profits. I can assure you there are a lot of national airlines that can take the hit.
Plus, the more flights that are cancelled, the more Boeing stock will fall. No need to replace craft that are sitting on a tarmac somewhere.
