I used to get my Maine Coon a lion cut in the summer too. He was same color hair as lions, so he really looked like one.
I wasn’t planning on getting another cat after mine passed, but my apartment manager texted me about a cat hanging out at the pool, and she hated calling animal control. I went out there, he came right to me, I carried him into my apartment, and he was the happiest cat ever. It was just meant to be. It’s obvious he had a home before, so I figured he must have been abandoned.
“dogs of the cat world”
I had a Manx like that, but I always thought that was because of how I raised it.

Yes, my Maine Coon was very sociable, very sweet personality.
Fits my ex-wife to a t...
I have brought another wonderful cat in my life a rag doll Himalayan he is a beautiful baby the fur is like bunny fur so much easier for me to care for!! He is a very lovable breed HOWEVER the Norwegian was like a dog followed me everywhere greeted me at the door ect. This new kitty is still very young 6months so it will be awhile before he fully develops his personality!!! I had to get a kitty right away my heart was so broken I needed to bring a kitty in to take care of and help with the grief I felt!! After 18 years it is like losing a child!! Bringing a new kitty in has helped more than I could have imagined EVERYONE who loses a pet needs to get another right away, it is not the same of course BUT my goodness it helps with the grief immediately!!
Cat people are so bad that they can’t even have a relationship with a dog let alone another person
I remember that movie. It was in the 80s. About all I can recall was a pretty girl waking around naked then she turned into a panther or something.
A real tiger or just a transspecies cat who makes you pretend he's a tiger?:-)
When a single woman turns about 50, she will often accumulate a number of cats.
They call this... ahem... ‘many paws’...

I am a cat person. I know many cat people. I know dog people. The list does not correspond very well to the people I know.
Any man that owns a mule has patience.
I come from a long line of feline-lovers and I find most “dog-lovers” are very ponderous and loud about how much they “HATE” cats. The best answers they give usually amount to a cat being too independent or of allergic concerns. This is especially true of “macho” men who make the stale jokes about “the other white meat” and “cats have staff” yada yada. Apparently hating cats makes them feel tough, masculine or something. I think it just makes them look like bullies of small animals. I don’t hate dogs I just don’t care for them. I have a 25 lb ragdoll who is sweetness on earth. And, John Lennon, a famous cat fancier who liked the Siamese variety, would disagree with George’s selection.
I want to know how the heck you got a cat to promise something to you
Interesting.
Ours is a calico Maine Coon, and when he lies on his back with his back legs stretched out, he must be nearly a yard long. His front paws are usually curled up and he is so darn cute! At night he sleeps on my grown daughters hip— pinning her down.
Oh Im so happy for you! Those Ragdolls are gorgeous! I so agree its good to get another pet as soon as possible. Never to replace but because its too hard living without them. Pets enhance our lives. Good for you.
Too bad we dont have pet threads and easier software to post pics.
Are you on Instagram? Its such a lovely form of social media to just enjoy beautiful photos.
