As a woman, I think this is absurd in the extreme. I have never understood why the women in tennis get the same prize money as the men. The women play 2 out of 3 sets and the men have to play 3 out of 5. It is completely different. Either make the women play 3 out of 5 like the men or award different prize money.

It's that kind of thinking that has brought us to this, though. I find it highly entertaining that feminists are now learning about the bed they laid for themselves. It is a shame for genuinely female athletes, though. Many of them have trained all their lives only to be beaten by a guy. Terrible!

I realize this is much easier said than done, but it seems to me that if the women refuse to compete with these men this would all come tumbling down.

I think the long-term solution to this is societal, not legal. Again simply refusing to put up with this is what will eventually stop it. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, solutions to problems are usually not complicated, they’re just not easy.

It’s pretty disturbing the way a man can justify this to himself by pretending he’s a woman.
