Can you imagine the devastation economically for the average middle income family? Many need another 4-5 years to recover. At this point many are just breaking even and hit like a city, countywide quarantine for a few weeks would break them...even if they had stocked up on food. The lack of income would be a death-knell.
“devastation economically for the average middle income family”
I am thinking about now. I can see a lot of good folks loosing there homes.
That’s why I used to think an intentional market crash and voter fraud would be the only two ways Dems might unseat him. Now I count the impact of this virus as a third way. IMO Trump needs to get out and stay out in front of it as much as possible with really tight tracking and restrictions on those coming into the US or otherwise at risk with it.
Of course we don’t want him to go the Chinese totalitarian route, but already Italy is enforcing lockdowns and it is reasonable to expect much greater issues yet to arise here.
I am very hopeful that we will be able tove away from China more, but it seems unlikely that India will be able to avoid its spread as well. I would have lkked to hear more moves to reestablish medical manufacturing here on an expedited basis (just let the Dems dare to vote against that!), as well as a rediversification of our local food production.
Instrad we apparently have Trump trying to force turkey and blueberry purchases on India.
There is a good timing aspect. Poor people, especially with kids, are about to get their socialist tax gift from the IRS. Of course since fedgov and msm aren’t saying much about covid19, everyone will probably run out and get big screen TVs and new cell phones, not realizing that they may have to stay home for weeks.
