S. Korea, US Military update:
CAMP WALKER, South Korea — U.S. soldiers wearing face masks and gloves wielded thermometers instead of guns as the military fought to keep a deadly virus from spreading to this base in the middle of South Korea’s hardest-hit area.

Soldiers have been banned from nonessential off-post travel to and from the base, and were told Sunday not to shake hands with anyone.
Civilians have been encouraged to follow the same guidance. Base entry restrictions have been tightened to forbid most visitors, although authorized South Koreans were allowed to come to work.

However, the military lacks the ability to do its own testing for coronavirus on post so suspected cases have to be sent to local hospitals.
Officials were struggling to facilitate the needs of a community finding itself essentially on lockdown.
Face masks with the ability to filter pathogens were disappearing from the shelves of base stores within an hour of delivery.
Schools that were shuttered last week were to remain closed at least through Friday as a precautionary measure, the Department of Defense Education Activity said late Sunday. Ballanco said earlier that online classes were being considered as an alternative.

There are people, now dead, who literally never ran a fever.
I just did some searching to see if I could find any current info re:Texas. Nope, nothing. My only suggestion is to call the Texas Dept. of Health and ask, worse that can happen is you get an answer of “we’re not telling”. Also try the health dept for the county where you live.

DEPcom, it means there is no independent corroboration and in this case, there's no external evidence to support the claim.
Which means to be skeptical of the claim, and worst case treat it as Fake News.
This is a way of thinning their herd. The only problem for them is it’s affecting others outside their borders now.

the CDC wants to get more proactive and start to test people in the larger cities that have flu like symptoms that has tested negative for the flu...but they can’t do that because of a lack of quality test kits..other countries are testing 1000’s

There are two ways to approach this problem
1 a quick cheap and dirty test - mexico an many other countries which work most of the time and are a good indicator
2 an expensive high tech wonder test that works all the time but no one else has - US: think LCS, CVN Ford, F-35
observation time including quarantine needs to be 40 days
