You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

Oh boy....you guys are in rare form this morning....

A tip of the platter to "Daddy Jules".
3 min. Go with your instinct on the first word, get the word after the SECOND comma, and the word after the THIRD comma.
Took less than 2 minutes before seeing the clues. I’ve been without my computer for the past few days so I’ve had some fun catching up on the missed cryptogram puzzles. As always, thanks Nikos for posting these for us!!
Makes it somewhat less difficult when the FIRST letter is so ‘obvious’.
Fill in a couple of blanks and the AUTHOR is virtually staring you in the face.
I would like to buy a vowel......

Good One!
I would tell you my time, but I was late to the party today (had an early morning favor to perform) so I consider I cheated because I saw a couple of hints and it was just fill in the blanks from there...
Rare footage of the moment “scratching” was invented...
I disagree with the author on that!
