^Sounds like this British couple onboard that ship may have casused a little too much irriatation to Japan, or even maybe the UK. It would be something if they both ended up dead.

"A British couple who have been quarantined on a cruise ship in Japan have revealed they have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
David and Sally Abel have been posting regular updates online from the Diamond Princess, which has been docked off the coast of Yokohama since 3 February.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Mr Abel said: "There is going to be a time of quiet. We have been proved positive and leaving for hospital soon. Blessings all."
However Mr Abel, from Oxfordshire, later said he doubted the diagnosis because he and his wife were being taken to a hostel instead of a hospital.
He wrote on Facebook: "Frankly I think this is a setup! We are NOT being taken to a hospital but a hostel. That's where partners are sent waiting out their quarantine.
"No phone, no wi-fi and no medical facilities. I really am smelling a very big rat here! Waiting for the transfer now.."
When asked if he was sure the test for COVID-19 was positive, Mr Abel replied: "I doubt it was positive. If it was, we would be in hospital."

This is ramping up now, exactly as expected by anyone researching and paying attention.
I’m unsettled by my thoughts about this. I’m beginning to wonder if our government at state and federal levels is withholding vital information from us that we need- because they fear panic. Or- if they’re so ignorant of the facts they’re unequipped to deal with it.
Either scenario is bad for us.
Heh, what will the mullahs do if they can’t hold mass rallies chanting “Death to America” without creating huge numbers of infections?

Apparently it was a man and woman who were Japanese. I just got so choked up thinking of how much we value and love my 84 year old mother in law - she is a huge part of our lives and has spent a couple of months with us up here in Alaska every year since we’ve been married (13 1/2 yrs).
My dad was 86 and in terrible health when he died around 5 yrs ago, but I was nowhere near ready to see him go!
Many people live a vibrant life well into their 90s, there was a priest at our old church named Father Elliot who gave an awesome sermon/homily the last Easter before he died at 97.
So even though the virus may have only killed older folks on that cruise so far - their lives had as much value as anybody else - and it’s heartbreaking indeed that the pure negligence of the Japanese government w/ help from Carnival cruises might have contributed to their deaths.

They will definitely not let the crisis go to waste. Wonder who will he the first one to take out a whole city. Iran could do some Dresden type work. The more things change . .
