Let me answer it by saying this:
Newman is an Engineer. He is very vocal about certain race tracks and the lack of adequate safety equipment. He has been fined by Nascar for such comments.
So, it is more than the latest technology..although the Newman Bar probably had a great deal to do with saving his life.
And he’s what 42 years old? I had a pretty bad wreck at 43 and was sore and hurting for weeks - I was going 45 mph.
I believe that...I was in a traffic accident where I got hit twice (I was stopped)...and I ended up with bruises on my toes.
