Bill Nye the Science Guy has a somewhat imprecise idea of how this whole climate thingy works.
Carbon dioxide is NOT the culprit in whatever climate change is going on. This observation is too simplistic by far, as there is only a very small percentage of carbon dioxide free at any given moment in our atmosphere or dissolved in the surface waters of Earth. But that small percentage is responsible for maintaining ALL life on earth, as it is the source of the oxygen we breathe and the food source known as carbohydrates which is the direct result of the energy of sunlight acting upon a most wonderful process in green growing plants, photosynthesis.
Primordial atmosphere of earth contained HUGE quantities of carbon dioxide, as well as ammonia, methane, and water vapor, plus some amount of sulfur compounds. Only as the earth cooled sufficiently so that water vapor could form liquid water, did the complex chemical reactions take place that would one day give rise to self-reproducing life forms. These primitive life forms did not by themselves use oxygen to maintain their existence, but when life forms that could evolve oxygen and carbohydrates from carbon dioxide and water came into being, the atmosphere of earth began to change. Introducing free oxygen in the atmosphere containing ammonia and methane caused the oxidation of these two compounds, resulting in free nitrogen and even more carbon dioxide, plus an increasing quantity of water as both liquid and water vapor. This highly reactive element also caused a change in the nature and distribution of the microscopic life forms, into aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms.
The aerobic bacteria then continued their conversion of the content of the atmosphere, and to some degree the composition of the surface waters, slowly arriving at the approximate composition of the biosphere today. The hellish conditions that once existed on the surface of the earth had been converted to the living conditions that exist today, and the dimensions of that system greatly dwarf the feeble efforts of mankind to significantly alter it in any way, shape, form or manner.
Get with the program, Bill Nye the Science Guy. Actually STUDY this science of which you so proudly boast.

Bless both their hearts. I’m happy to give @BillNye the “Science” Guy and @HardballChris a lesson in climate 101, but something tells me they both are more interested in the TV ratings of their bogus tv shows.

Isn’t that what is known as a “juvenocracy”? Sure, the children represent the future of this great nation of ours, but not for another 30-40 years! Not tomorrow, not next week, next month or even five years from now, because the generation(s) they spring from will not be irrelevant unless that relevance is voluntarily relinquished, however unnecessarily.
Wasnt bill Nye in a porno? I recall on the mid 90s hearing about this not in the news but by people who supposedly knew him. Not that things like that matter anymore. Still would be fun to have that around anytime he decides to share
Is it just me or don’t people think for themselves anymore? To believe the ugly rumors or not. That is the question. If such ugly rumors were proven to be untrue, would you be disappointed? If yes, then I would sincerely doubt that person’s claims of being any sort of well-meaning friend.

Why does anyone even listen to Nye? He was educated as an engineer and unable to do that for real. Now he “educates”. This falls under the category of those who teach, can’t do. Nye is nothing more than a leftist in an empty suit.
