It will be a miracle if he can walk after that crash...and he already had one miracle just being alive.
This will be an interesting thread I’m bettin’
Another Ford driver (Dave Blaney) was trying to help push Newman to the lead, but he got pushed out of shape by another car and came across Newman’s rear bumper instead of straight on. At those speeds and banking a push has to be lined up perfectly or a wreck will ensue.
“Climate Change”, no doubt...
Yep, I guess that's a downside.
I don't know anything about auto racing, but this sounds dangerously illegal. If this is permitted during races - I don't get it... seems anyone doing that would be disqualified - just like rules that exist for fair play in other pro sports......
A few decades ago, one driver barely survived a crash, and was in a coma for weeks.
Somebody tuned the tv in his room to NASCAR, and he woke up in the middle of the race, and saw “his” car on the track, and his first thoughts were why is [other driver] driving my car? He’s a good friend, but why is he driving my car?
your having to search wikipedia for nascar facts along with starting multiple threads on the subject after being confronted prove you’re not a fan and just trying to stir up emotions from people that obviously don’t know anything about nascar racing...
Driving close to 200 MPH?
As someone who raced in his younger days, I got to say that it takes guts to race 200+ mph. Superspeedway racing is the best because you don’t know who will win, Trevor Bayne won his only race at the 500 and one rookie who is not one of the Big 3 (Christopher Bell, Cole Custer or Tyler Reddick) came in at 11th (John Hunter Nemechek).
Call the highway patrol! To investigate this “accident”. /s
THIS WAS THE DAYTONA 500 not some Sunday drive after church.
Rubbin’ is racin’ as they say.
If there were no crashes, NO ONE would watch!
It would be like a prize fight where they didn’t hit each other.
Im sure by now the spot on, non political, unbiased media has figured that this whole incident was caused by, and should be blamed on President Trump.
