Harrison Ford is dipping his toe into political waters, noting in a recent interview that talking about politics has become unavoidable.
Days after the 77-year-old actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and called President Donald Trump a son of a b----, he was asked about his recent forays into talking politics in an interview with CBS News. The star responded by noting that politics has become too divisive and called for a return to the middle ground.
"I think it's come to the point where we gotta start talking politics," Ford said. "But we gotta talk about it in a positive way. We gotta regain the middle ground. We're in these ideological enclaves. But the truth is in the middle. Progress is made in the middle."

When asked if he thought it was possible to get back to the middle ground, the Han Solo actors response was blunt.

We damn well better, he shot back.
Ford was on hand to promote his new film, The Call of the Wild, which he says spoke to his personal beliefs about climate change and human beings impact on the natural world.

What else do Hollywood ‘hasbeens’ have to do these days ??
.
What's the middle ground Mr. Ford, more schvatzas unemployed and collecting welfare?

I have multiple Science Degrees and I believe GlobalWarming/ClimatChange is a crock of sh*t.

Aw Harrison, go land your plane in the wrong place. Again.
He looks red in that picture with Hilary and that is what he is. I forget what movie he was in — where he was fighting a Soviet assassin in the 1950s — and he made a sly joking statement that American students will become Red... in an approving way. And they have with Bernie. The man is a child entering his second childhood and has learned nothing from history.
Perhaps, but I think it’s due to his having made his millions and now he has nothing to fear from flapping his jaw.
Did he give up flying?
I wanted to go see call of the wild. I dont want to go, now.
I feel exactly the same way. He used to be one of my favorite actors. But I don't see myself going to see any film of his again. I will not support a libtard.
He recently called Trump “a son of a bitch” on one of the late night comedy shows. I wanted to see “Call of the Wild” but not now. Screw him.
I thought he landed it on the taxiway and because he's
a hot shot Hollywood type, he got to keep his license.
I heard that.
He’s also a big time treehugger that goes all over the national forests by helicopter because it’s the only means of access, all of the old logging roads are gated off and blocked by boulders pushed into place by giant bulldozers. Even if you could use the old roads, doing so is highly illegal. Having to own a helicopter is one of several ways that our liberal-packed government makes sure our national forests are accessible only to the super-rich.
Back when Ford lived in Wyoming 35 years ago, he was actually a decent guy that hadn’t gone Hollywood. I know because I’ve delivered carpentry supplies and paint to his house. Yes, he did his own work on his country house when he could’ve easily paid somebody to do it all. This was when back when he had a string of blockbuster movies that is astounding even by today’s standards (it’s something that Mark Hamill and Carey Fisher could’ve had, too, but they chose to be junkies instead). It’s too bad that he’s gone Hollywood now, he’s not a guy that I would’ve thought would ever do that. I guess anybody can get in your head if you give them 40 years to do it.
