Further proof the 14 day quarantine is not long enough.
“Severe worker shortage at U.S. factories in China”
A big impact is heading thus way.
A number of pet dog medicines here, have been empty at Walmart since Saturday.
Hubby is going tomorrow to get a new Ipad Air he’s been wanting for several months. We were going to put it off till after memorial day but decided now might be better than later. I was going to get him one for Christmas but he nixed that because he just couldn’t stand to come off the money then.
Ditto that extra DVD player.
Ditto some new phones for us. Nothing fancy, but the one we share currently is getting dodgy as it’s 5 or 6 years old.
Also bought some windshield wipers and some vitamins and OTC meds. Nothing ‘prepper level’, but a spare bottle won’t hurt and stuff might be a while getting back into the retail channel.
Nothing we wouldn’t have bought anyways, just pushing the timeline up a few months for it.
Try petco.com or walmart.com
I bought an extra bottle of my dog’s ear drops from amazon last week.
holycrud you’re in trouble if you call that ‘prepping’
FOOD, WATER, BLANKETS is what you need to worry about
NOT whether you have extra DVD players and other newest electronic gadgets.
What if there is no electricity?
I crochet for a hobby, I have an entire closet full of afghans and blankets. Need any?
I have a large garden.
We live in the country & can boil water if we have to.

SEATTLE 2/17/20 An Oregon man is back on U.S. soil after the cruise ship he was on was turned away from several countries over fears surrounding the spreading coronavirus, before ultimately docking in Cambodia.
Professional comedian Frank King was set to perform on a Holland-America Westerdam cruise. That cruise left Hong Kong and was ultimately turned away from four countries before finding refuge in Cambodia.
Its kind of like the Hotel California ... Im not going to check out but I am leaving, King said.
After the cruise ship docked in Cambodia and passengers were allowed to leave, an American tested positive for the coronavirus, officially known as COVID-19.
And then when she tested positive, nobody is leaving the hotel. It wasnt like an armed camp, but they were watching you. If you walked out with your backpack beside you, thats fine. If you did like I did and you drag your luggage, they tried to stop you," King said.
King walked out of the hotel and ended up booking a flight from Cambodia to Bangkok. From there, he flew to Dubai and then ultimately landed in Seattle.
He said the U.S. Customs & Border Patrol were expecting him.
They knew. They had my name on the list and they knew. They go are you Mr. King? Were you on the Westerdam?' I said yes. I thought oh man, Im going to Guantanamo. But because I hadnt been on mainland China and Id been outside the incubation period and hadnt been in close contact with anyone with the flu, they said you are free to go, King said.
It took two hours for King to clear customs. King plans on renting a car and drive from Seattle to his home in Eugene, Oregon.
In a statement, Holland America said its still working with the Cambodian health ministry and are working to clear passengers once they test negative. They anticipate this will take several more days.
Except, he was on an enclosed ship with at least one passenger who later tested positive.
He has no idea if he shared an elevator or buffet with the infected lady. Or pushed the elevator button just after she got off.
Not to mention that the tests seem to be at least 50% false negative and some infected patients need FOUR tests before they get a positive result.
I got some fish antibiotics for my pet fish from chewy, FYI.
Sounds like us. My son Is an avid hunter. I was telling what kind of things to prep for, but his biggest concern was how much ammo to buy.
Hubby bow hunts.
Need spare bolts though probably.
This is the kind of garbage that will make government have to do forced quarantine if it gets bad here. Idiots who think the rules dont apply to them. Frequent entitlement generation. I have a bunch of nieces and nephews just like this.
