Barr the Door
Bill O'Reilly.com ^ | 2/16/2020 | Bill O'Reilly

The most important man in President Trump’s life right now is William Barr, the Attorney General of the United States. Yet, Mr. Trump may not understand that. However, the hate-Trump media brigades certainly do.

If Mr. Barr were to turn against the President, his re-election chances would be damaged. Significantly.

That’s because William Barr is a tough, honest prosecutor who is trying to uphold the crucial constitutional mandate of “equal justice for all.” That means a corrupt media is not the dispenser of justice, nor is a sitting President who may have a personal agenda.

The latest controversy over Roger Stone, accompanied by presidential tweets, has put the Attorney General in a tough spot. Mr. Stone was convicted of lying to authorities about his role in seeking damaging information against the democrats during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The sentencing recommendation from Justice Department prosecutors is seven to nine years in a federal penitentiary. On average, a convicted rapist in this country serves four and a half years in prison so you know something is amiss.

Almost immediately, President Trump tweeted his outrage - targeting the prosecutors. A short time later, four of them quit. That caused great joy and a spate of anonymous-sourced articles in The New York Times and The Washington Post, two organizations that are devoted to injuring President Trump.

Caught in the middle of the chaos is William Barr who then told ABC News that Mr. Trump’s tweeting about active criminal cases makes it hard for the AG to do his job.

Whereupon Fox Business Channel anchor Lou Dobbs questioned Barr’s “loyalty.”

But an attorney general’s loyalty is to his oath to uphold the constitution, not to any human being and that includes politicians who sometimes defy the human description.

So, now, the President and the Attorney General are, well, let’s use the word “unsettled.”

The ridiculous side of all this is - it didn’t have to happen. All President Trump had to do was wait until Roger Stone is sentenced and then issue a pardon. Presto, Mr. Stone could go bowling with you that very night.

But waiting is not Donald Trump’s style, confrontation is. If you read my book “The United States of Trump,” you know the President always relishes the fight.

But a battle with William Barr is not like the dustup with the weak former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Barr is not a man to be pushed around and he does not want his professional reputation sullied. The crucial Durham investigation into federal corruption is underway and President Trump would be well advised to stay out of all Justice Department business and let those chips fall.

Mr. Trump should also understand that the national media is heavily invested in diminishing AG Barr because it fears what the Durham investigation might bring. The President would be foolish to help his enemies marginalize William Barr, who could expose disturbing FBI corruption that damaged Donald Trump.

Finally, President Richard Nixon tried to manipulate the Justice Department and that finalized his demise.

History can repeat itself.

From post #52 “I most definitely doubt that Paul Sperry knows jack $@#t as this is a military/national security level classified investigation. I’m in DOD and there is no way this get’s leaked at all!! This is disinfo at best to throw people off. If you are holding Paul Sperry as a go to source you are embarrassing yourselves.”

You are going to have to work alot harder to get ahead of me jackoff!

That’s funny, because Lindsay Grahamnesty went out of his way to ask Kavanaugh about military tribunals during the confirmation hearings...

I don’t have to work at all. Unfortunately, after 3 years of non prosecution of the couipsts I have the facts on my side. All you have is personal attacks. That is all. Adios, amigo.

Barr is just trying to slow walk this along another few months until we get into the meat of campaign season because this is now a political matter and not a criminal one. The DOJ has no interest in criminally prosecuting the coupists and would much rather dump this on the American people in November.

Barr and McConnell blew gaskets at POTUS last week because he was cutting right to the heart of the matter. He focused attention on ongoing Deep State coup inside the DOJ and the support it gets from Congress.

You are walking around in the dark and are clueless is spite of your observations!! Your information is not even worth a cup of warm spit as you really have no idea of the breadth and depth of what is going on. We all know what you are and what you try to do! You are not worthy of anything more than ridicule and scorn!

o’reilly has always been a blow hard and thinks he knows better then anyone else. He doesn’t and never did. He has always been like a little dog yapping and nipping at the heals of people that actually do know.

he had his chance to really challenge Barry O when he interviewed him. Instead he let him “ rope and dope” his way through the whole segment without ever pressing him on things like Ayers, Wright, his Single Payer quotes, and the infamous LA time buried picture...

So no cigars for you MR . O bloviate

The difference with Holder is that Barr doesn’t have a fawning, obsequious press running cover for him and actually cheering him on.

Bingo. They are the insurance policy to keep the “ get rid of Barr” manta alive.

You must think I’m as stupid as all your lefty friends.

Then why did you refer to SES rank as "the SES"?

It's not an organization or a cabal.

Your statement would be akin to me complaining about "The GS-9s" as an entity.

As everyone knows, being one of Presidents Trump’s lawyers has been Jay Sekulow (from Judicial Watch), and JS and Tom Fitton are working together against the plethora of highly illegal actions and actors involved in the very real coup d’etat against the POTUS, while he is necessarily being careful with his words, Tom Fitton is in a unique position to voice the need for an immediate “Independent Counsel” or “Special Prosecutor”.

Coming from Tom Fitton, multiple times now, clearly communicates some level of knowledge there NEEDS to be someone other than Barr investigating all which has happened.

Placing Barr in front of this, and not appointing “Independent Counsel” is already wrecking recourse of justice.

Just like Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow: “...but you *have* heard of them.”

You knew immediately who I was talking about.
Embrace the vernacular. The story about the 1,000 signers was running on CNN when I last passed the break room at work.

Lots of swamp-dwellers want Barr out, *now*.
Surely they and CNN aren’t all participating in the LARP, right?

Never saw that movie.

You knew immediately who I was talking about.

Nope. The proverbial "They" are quite indeterminate.

Embrace the vernacular.

Not when your entire premise is incorrect. SES is a rank, like Major General. It's not a secret organization, and not everyone who holds that rank is a Deep State traitor. Why don't you just admit that is the case? It's 100% factual.

The story about the 1,000 signers was running on CNN when I last passed the break room at work.

I did hear something about some former Dept of Injustice cretins complaining about Trump. So? That's what they do. And there is .00001% that all of those were of SES rank. It's a high Federal rank, akin to flag officer for the military, and there are relatively very few of them.

Lots of swamp-dwellers want Barr out, *now*.

And a lot of Patriots do as well. Unless the President is lying in his tweets and statements, then he isn't too happy with him either.

Surely they and CNN aren’t all participating in the LARP, right?

Sorry, this isn't a Q thread.

No, it isn’t. But if Barr really let McCabe skate, *and* he’s not doing anything, why are they calling for him to resign?

Sessions didn’t get much flak after revising himself from “Russia, Russia, Russia” so why the fuss over do-nothing Barr, from the Swampies?

He’s just itching to write “Killing Trump”

Most definitely. He may even write it while Trump is still in office and maybe it will be a best seller with liberals drooling over the thought of Trump as being "gone".

Because the D.C. criminals and coup plotters want to keep Barr in check, and still fear he might actually do something.

And that is exactly why we love him. Bill Barr is the one who needs to just ignore President Trump, and do his job. No one is forcing Barr to weigh in. Just do your job as you see fit Bill. After all, that is what an independent prosecutor would do. President Trump knows full well that all he has to do is pardon him. But frankly that is not good enough. The two-tiered justice system, between political parties, needs to be exposed every time they use the two-tiered system to punish those of the party they indict and convict for the same crimes the offender of the same crimes of the other party skates without anything done to them.

Yeah, I don’t think a Senator asking a judicial nominee legal questions is “going out of his way” or “funny”. Certainly doesn’t change the law.
